Parent-teacher Association of Gymnazium Nymburk (RSG) is a voluntary association of citizens founded in harmony with the law No.83/1990 of Digest.

The association was established in 1991.


RSG activities are focused on the coordination and unification of the family,school and other educational institutions with a formative impact. Next the RSG aspires to voluntary assistance at school fulfilment functions.


RSG especially:

  • Appeals to parental education and care of children i family

  • Informs parents and the public about educational aims of the school and about task of parents in their fulfilment

  • Informs the management of the school about parents‘ suggestions, observations or possible complaints and participates in their solution

  • Contributes either with voluntary help of its members or material and financial aids to improve the school environment and to provide educational activities

  • Presents recommendations and ideas concerning the whole educational conception, Gymnazium competence, legal standards

  • Takes an active part in the work of the autonomous body and cooperates with the organs of eductaional state administration


The RSG organization is run according to the association statutes.The activity of the association is managed by the Parent Board,which consists of elected representatives from all classes. At the head of the Parent Board stands an elected chairman. In 1998/99 this function is performed by Mr Milos Petera, Ing.

  

 


RSG has two chaletes in Rokytnice nad Jizerou.The chaletes are used in winter for ski courses not only by our students but also by students from partner schools abroad.In spring and autumn courses of aesthetics education for prima and sekunda students take place here.

Foto chaty v RokytniciThe chaletes are opened all-year-round and are at the disposal of parents – RSG members and schoolteachers.

During the last three years general reconstruction (combined with finishing sanitary installations and other residential room extensions) have taken place at the chalet No.100.

Gradually interior equipment has been up-dated.

But still the chalet No.102 (a kitchen and a dining room) has been waiting for reconstruction.The problem is money. RSG has been repeatedly asking for a state grant but without any success.

RSG appreciates any financial contributions which would approach the term of reconstruction.It is possible to send such a financial contribution to the RSG account.

Reconstruction of the chalet No. 102:

 Though the complete reconstruction is necessary – finding financial funds (which will come to 4.500.000 CZK) will be very difficult. RSG has been trying to find finances to fund the reconstruction for a long period (with only partial success). The chief committee has decided that the reconstruction will be divided into several stages.

In November 2000 the heating system in the chalet was reconstructed. (A reservoir for calor gas was placed near the chalet and from that place gas was led into the chalet. The old stove for brown coal was replaced by a new modern cooker and a gas boiler for central heating.)

The problem with liquidation of wastewater was solved by the construction of a new sewerage collector. Chalet 102 was connected to this system in October 2000. During the next period it will be necessary to finish the reconstruction of the chalet, especially, to solve the problems with the source of drinking water and sanitary installations.
